Hey, I got a question about the firing pin.
When I charge the gun, I can see that the firing pin is about a 1/4 inch inside the bolt.
Then when I pull the trigger, the firing pin do not move.
It’s still a1/4 inch inside the bolt.

Sorry,but is this OK?
Shouldn’t the FP be sticking out of the bolt,after I pull the trigger

If you are doing this and looking from the front without the barrel installed you will not see the firing pin because the bolt has not rotated like it normally would when it goes into the barrel extension when the barrel is installed.

If you manually push the bolt back it will rotate and move rearward in the bcg and you will then be able to see the firing pin.

Ctcs is normally over priced compared to RDSC including V7 gear, because that’s what my Stag is mostly going to run, minus the barrel.

Yup rdsc first but even then they are sometimes overpriced compared to other sponsors.

Could anyone point me in the direction of an armorors kit for an ar-10 in canada? I've got a I run guns kit on the way but I can't seem to find a place that carrys an armorors wrench and upper vice block. Thanks in advance.

hey guys this is going to be my first time putting together an AR from parts so I'm hoping you guys can give me some feedback on my planned parts list (cost savings, missing items, improvements etc..) , the purpose of the rifle is for using at the range and hunting.

Stag-10 Lower/Upper - $550
308 Basic Parts Kit - $665
(20" SS 308 1/10 HBAR)
(Standard 308 Gas Block)
(Standard 308 Gas Tube)
(308 nitride bcg)
(Stock spring, buffer, castle nut & tube)
Magpul gen 3 PRS Stock - $305
17.5 Odin 02 Handguard - $290 (This is probably going to get changed to a MWI handguard or something)
Magpul MOE Grip - $30
Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 - $250
Cantilever scope Mount (any recommendations on what kind to get?) - $50??

Just doubled checked, it seems like it was actually the ar15 version that is 17.5" and is 290$ it was from reliablegun. Guess ill have to roll a different handguard

6 lbs 15 oz so we were close!

I think the receiver is a little lighter than the guesstimate.
