I got a deal on a 1911 frame with original parts and trying to find a .40 slide/barrel (my CZ is .40).

I will put a front FO, rear novak sight, so I'm looking for a hammer, beavertail, mags and other idea?

I want something that won't break the bank, idea? :)

I'm kinda doing the same thing in a round about way.... I have a Colt Delta 10mm and I'm getting a .40 cal barrel fitted to it as a drop-in so I can switch between .40 cal and 10mm. Motivation for this is the reasonable scarcity and expense of 10mm brass and the fact that .40 S&W brass is almost free with all of it laying around the local ranges after the city/municipal cops practice.

Good luck with your project, though... why not contact Gunnar [aka 7x61] at Armco? If anyone can fix you up with a slide/barrel for your project it would be him.... ;)

Freedom Venture or myself Double Tap Sports can provide you with everything you are looking for. Where you are going to save $$ is by doing the work yourself..if you want good parts they don't come cheap.
If you need someone to do your fitting DTS can do that for you.
