Building a 450 Marlin on 1894 action

I have been looking at the winchester trailsend takedown in 450 marlin but near $2000 has put me off buying one.Wondering if it would be cheaper to build a 450 marlin on a 1894 action..I would be able to make it a little different 16.5 inch barrel ,peep sight set up etc.Just wondering what the cost on build like this would be just rough ball park Thanks for all info
 
I hate to take the "fun" out of a project but why not just search out a Marlin 1895 in 450 Marlin?...unless you are really that partial to Winny '94's over Marlins.
Cost?...more than two Marlins are worth I'd think.
 
I have owned several 1895s in 45 70 and couple 450 marlins.i was thinking of something that might be lighter than the 1895s plus do a couple things i would like. You more than likely right on the cost to build it
