building a AR/SBR style 10/22 suggestions?

you need an end-cap, and then retain that with a FSB of some kind.

Sorry, I don't know if a .920 bbl will clear the HG, or the end cap opening, or even if there is a FSB that can fit over a .920?
 
I have been looking at FSB and gas blocks but nothing that I have seen yet with the DIM. Of .920, I might just have to go your route gcdavidson and get Dlask to cut down there 12.5 Sr barrel and too 10.5 or a bit shorter.

What types of FSB where you using, and did they end up working with a flip up rear sight?
