Building a Stag 10 - AR10 parts interchangability?

Hello, and pardon if this is an ignorant question.

With all the Hoorah about Stag 10's being nonrestricted, and potentially viable for hunting, I'm considering going down the rabbit hole of building one.

Thing is, I already have a DPMS LR-308, and its so much of a safe queen I've been considering selling it. But if I'm building another 'AR-10' I may as well cannibalize it for all its worth.

Question is: To what extent will parts be interchangable? I'm looking to buy a stripped upper and lower receiver package, so the more parts I can swap, the better.

Would appreciate your thoughts and feedback.

I'm running the LR308 bolt and barrel so everything internal is going to work just fine. Depending on model, the pici rail gas block might not line up with the Stag rail.

The barrel bcg handguard charging handle gas system and buffer system should all interchange. The stag 10 is based on the dpms lr308 pattern. Also the lower parts like trigger mag catch bolt catch should work. The only thing you might need is a new barrel if yours isnt over 470mm
