Building first 10/22, which stock?

I'm building my first 10/22 with a Tactical Innovations Elite 22 receiver. So far I have just the receiver but no idea of which stock to buy.

My goal is to get a very accurate 22 without spending thousands. What stock is good for a 10/22? Does it have to be fully bedded like the B&C I have on my .308 Rem700?

I can't confirm this as my 10/22 isn't bedded but contrary to most bolt guns, I was told bed the first part of the barrel to stabilize it and allow the action to float.

Again, I've never tried it but when doing my mp5 stock, a few people referred to it. Being a 700 shooter, I was puzzled. Maybe someone can chime in with some experience on the subject?
