Building or buying the perfect gopher setup

I've never scored a triple (that I'm aware of) but I've seen plenty. lol (nephew behind the HMR) When numbers are big or there are lots of pups around, seems you're presented with a number of opportunities for a double at least. You could probably rack-up lots of them some days, but hard to wait with so many singles around and a half dozen loaded mags beside you. :)

That’s a beautiful 69A Kamlooky.

I've had it for a very very long time.
It's been sculptured and looks better in real life.
Nimble with the stock slimmed down.

I did a bit of a trigger mod and it's enjoyable now.

I have taken numerous 22's to this area I was invited to tend the small herds and I always come back to this one.
That Leupold fits nicely on there too.

The other one has a Weaver 4X Classic.
It's no slouch either.
It gits its position on the quad rack.
Not concerned about water, dust and abuse as that is it's intended purpose.

Cheers

my best one, maybe because it had a 1k scope on top was a sako finnfire HB
I mainly used Fed 525 boxes, or sometimes Fed. gold match when I was paying 4.oo/box.

A old Bruno #4 was damn good as well, with cheap ammo.
a win. 69A with factory peep sights yrs ago would hit them most times.

Perhaps the bullet did fragment upon impact with gopher #1 and two of the fragments proceeded to gut gophers # 2 and 3..?

Thats kinda what I'd expect. I've seen doubles created by a fragmenting varmint bullet. Not sure I've ever seen a triple that way though. It is certainly within the realm of possibility.
