Building the Best Canadian Made Pistol Carbine (Non-Restricted!)

I would instantly buy it if it was like this

sorry for my poor mspaint skill

Having the top rail that low would probably throw AR optics and riser blocks out of whack though. ...

The EXACT reasons we made it like this are as follows
1) The optics wouldn't work. If you like forcing your head down trying to get some sight alignment instead of holding a firearm and having a comfortable, natural sight alignment... then you're one in a million.
2) Our polls showed 50/50 on side charging / AR15 style.
3) Also.. i'm not sure how tall you think the riser block is... but it's literally less than 0.50
By having this micro height, not only we were able to add functionality and make our system unique as no other firearm has ever done this but we were also able to ensure optics are at the correct height for ease of use.

As for a hand guard, yes we will be offering a compatible hand guard that will be MLOK. It is not included as many people don't need it, and they prefer to hold it around the mag-well. Our aim is to make the base cost as low as possible, yet functional enough for 80% of the population. Anyone wishing for extras, will be taken care of and of course given a deal! We are trying to promote incredible value!

Our side charging handle is reciprocating, however because it's not a bullpup it will never be anywhere near hitting you. Left or Right handed, our system will work excellent for you.

Our low price of 1250 CAD and made here in Canada, it's pretty hard to knock it!

Do you have a pic of the Raven with the handguard on? i'm not one of those who hold it around the magwell.

We haven't yet released any images of the handguard as we are still trying to tie it into the design for maximum effect.

Right on! Looks like u guys have thought of everything. Maybe the EVO won't be my next PCC purchase after all.

We didn't try to just match the carbines on the market...
We wanted to be innovative and crush them as much as possible.

Canadians are smart, problem solvers and damn fine people.
We wanted to build a solution, made here in Canada, and have it something that we can all be proud of.

No .40 cal version???

Reliable
Lightweight
Accurate
Affordable
Availability of parts and accessories

These are the things that are important to me, I would be all over this, right now I am mulling over buying a Scorpion. Good job guys and keep up the good work

Looks great so far. I also would like to see some kind of aftermarket compatibility for handguards. How else could I make it front heavy with ridiculous tactical accessories?

Seriously though, something with some girth to wrap your hands around or add a AFG or vertical grip.
