Building the Best Canadian Made Pistol Carbine (Non-Restricted!)

So its basically a barrel shroud and not actually wrapped like Proof Research barrels.
https://www.proofresearch.com/the-science/

Anyways the rail looks great and thanks for bringing this product to market.

It's not just a shroud, its a structural component sir, as well as provides other benefits.

Proof Research barrels can have delamination issues with the carbon fiber. Barrels get hot while you shoot. The heat needs somewhere to go, so it goes into the carbon fiber, which heats up the resin holding the carbon layers together.
With these barrels we are getting, the holes allow heat to easily escape, protecting the carbon and allowing the SS to cool easier.

Our barrels are backed by a lifetime workmanship guarantee. It's going to be hard to beat that!

Man thats a ###y gun with the hand guard installed.

I will DEFINITELY buy this if it looks like that and hits the price point.

Nice work guys. Finally someone who seems to get what were looking for.

Thank you!
And to confirm again with everyone, our price point is set. We will not charge a dollar more!

The Raven : www.tinyurl.com/RAVEN9mm is sold as a fully functional firearm. ($1250)

Our handguard is a modular option that is going to be available in three lengths
8", 12", and either a 16" or an 18" option (To be decided)

We are also going to do our best to develop an attachment system for standard AR15 handguards for those who don't wish to use our seamlessly interegrated, tool less take down options.
Stay tuned.

Very attractive looking piece. This is 10000000% something I'd be interested in, and that's an incredible pricepoint (although still high for me because wedding). But this is absolutely in my future. (especially in 7.62x25, please?!)

Thanks to guys like Lockhart Tactical, we're making the best of our garbage laws. God bless.

Just out of curiosity, where are these at in regards to the FRT process?

I'm having a hard time figuring out how you can go from a POLL two months ago to design, to producing and submitting a sample for FRT examination, to thoroughly testing a finished build, to receiving FRT classification approval, to building the finished product ready to be "on shelves for immediate pick up in sub 6 months" from now?

Not trying to be skeptical. It's just that the time line doesn't add up. I've never seen anything progress this fast especially once it lands in the lab rats hands.

Unless this has been kept quiet and has already been in the works for a long time the "on shelves for immediate pick up in sub 6 months" doesn't seem realistic.

Or maybe I'm just missing something?

Hopefully this has long been in the works and the poll was just a strategically timed marketing ploy to build up hype before the release? Please tell me this is the case.

Although we're used to lengthy waiting games and delayed release dates it doesn't mean we like them.

It would be nice for once not to have to play the games we're used to playing.

I'm not complaining. Just lookin' forward to not getting let down.

We will continue to update as things progress.

I hope to upload video in a few weeks when we are ready to showcase it firing.
FRT is scheduled, and that FRT is going to be the longest waiting part.

Meanwhile we have production fully ready to go.

We don't want anyone waiting a moment longer than necessary.

Ditch the skinny barrel shroud, have a short barrelled option, non restricted doesn't mean anything to me but being forced to pay a premium in Canada, make it AR15 accessory compatible, have a non reciprocating cocking handle if possible as well.
I like the magazine options, and its Canadian made but right now it's not even an option I'd consider in its current form. Just my 2 Pesos, take it or leave it as you will.

I personally have zero objections to the skinny barrel look. I'd like to see it still be an option rather than making them all come with some huge honking pointless barrel can like the Vector or something...
