Built my long range gong today!

Frost is finally out of the ground here in BC's interior, had a chance today to build a stand and hang some steel. The spot we're shooting from is 1125 yards...223 rem. Great chance to get the kids out for some long range fun as well.

Had to drag the steel plate about 15km with the atv...here I am essentially installing a "boot" on my grizzly. Tire grabbed the chain I was towing it with.

Here is a pic of some of the hits, even the kids were ringing it! 5 mph full wind too, holding off about 6 minutes

Here's a pic of the rifle, Savage, Kreiger 8 twist at 28", chambered in .223 rem, B&C stock, Sightron 8-32x56 moa.

And yeah, great day with the kids, got to go fourwheeling, build some stuff and do some shooting. It helps being able to take off on the atv's right from the backyard.

Nice area to shoot as well. We have too many trees to shoot that easily here. There are locations, just have to drive pretty far.
