BUIS From the South

Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered a set of BUIS from an online company located in the US. Was looking at ordering a set from Brownells but after reading through their International Shipping Info page, wanted to see if anyone on here had experience. I've read that many people have ordered other items from Brownells. Thanks for the help!

most firearms parts being exported from the usa require the exporter to be licensed (Brownells is) and the manufacture of the part must be registered

you cannot legally export from the usa without the above

and yes if you order them you are breaking us export laws

so 2 options

buy them in canada from a canadian dealer

or see if someone like Brownells who have the us export permits are able to ship them (many parts are prohibited from export)

google ITAR for a light read...........

Thanks for the Info Contact148, was interesting to see on other forms just how restrictive ITAR is. I kept my dollars in Canada and grabbed Troy BUIS from NEA as the Sights will be sitting on one of their 14.5" Rifles.

Just ordered a bunch of stuff from Brownels today:
MOE handguard
MOE grip+
Magpul rear BUIS
MOE rails
Accu-wedge

Apart for the rails, all pieces were listed as rifle parts. The total amount of rifle parts made it just under $100 so it was Ok for shipping.

That's what I've read, that as long as the total is under $100 there's really no problem getting it shipped up here. Thanks for the info, will come in handy in the future
