The bull barrel really helps settle down the recoil, even in a commander length 1911. Love the checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. It comes stock with some really aggressive G10 scales, and the best stock S/A trigger I've felt on a stock 1911. Crisp break and ~3lbs. I'll bring in a scale and measure it.
One of our local IPSC shooters brought in the Trophy model, full sized government model with fibre optic front sight and magwell. He's loving it and may give it a run in Classic division.
