Bul M5

HI,
Just picked a used M5 in .40S&W, It was as described in excellent condition with little use,(which was true) However, Two out of the 3 mags it came with, Do not hold the slide back. The ONE mag works every time and I cannot notice any difference between the mags,!!????????.
1, Has anyone had this happen,? I presume it is an easy fix, Any suggestions,??
2, Does aanyone know if other high-cap mags fit this frame, Like PARA-ORD???
3, What adjustable sights fit this frame/Is this a standard dovetail,???

To be honest, as long as the gun will manually lock back, I could care less.

All my IPSC guns were altered to prevent the slide stop from engaging the mag surface. A gun that locks on the last round might just lock on the second last round.

maybe the ammo isn't powerful enough or you ride your thumb the slide release?
