Hi nutz,

Just wondering if anyone has a good line on some bulk 22LR. Not just 525 boxes, but cases of those?

I've checked a few suppliers but they either seem sold out or don't offer any bulk buys.

Any ideas?

Thanks Canadians

The Shooting Edge has the Federal 525 packs in cases. I think they want around $250 for a case of 5250.

P&D in Edmonton has a great selection of rimfire ammo, not the cheapest, but they have lots.FS

$250 for ten bricks, at a savings of approximately 5 bucks a brick from the typical 29.99.
Not exactly a wicked deal, but it saves 50 over the course of a couple months...

Is that $250 more or less confirmed?

I can't remember the exact price, but was close to $250 when I was in there last week.

Roger at Shooters Choice (www.shooterschoice.ca) is selling the Federal 525 packs for $24 each or $230 for a case of 10 boxes, taxes included.
Check his website--all his prices include GST and although his stock is not vast, his prices are very competitive.
He has a small, home-based business approximately 100 km SE of Calgary.
He is truly a first-class gentleman--it's well worth the trip!

Sweet well it looks like Roger at Shooters Choice has the best prices..
I will have to order from him, saving me money and supporting a good small business.

He's an awsome guy to deal with. I purchased a rifle from him and months later I had issues with it ejecting. I called Remington to fix it and they would not help telling me parts could not be shipped to Canada. I spoke to Roger about this and with no hesitation told me he would send me a new rifle.
I strongly reccomend doing business with such a great dealer you dont get that with 99% of gun shops

Cheers!!

buy what you can where you can, not sure guys have to give too many deals as 22 ammo is getting harder to get by the day. If they don't sell it to you they WILL sell it to someone else. recently purchased 3 cases of 22lr and the retailer wouldn't give me a deal, had to pay full retail for each 50 round pack, he just offered to buy it all back at more than I paid. That's the demand.

I just picked up a box of 500 American Eagle (Federal) at Mountain Man in Cranbrook for $21.98 regular price. It was the cheapest he had. I also picked up some CCI, but it was 8.99 per hundred.

I didn't ask what the case price was.

redbonefish:

I've heard about Walmart selling ammo. Never noticed it before. Is it every store or just a few of them?

Ummm you have to check around. Certain ones do. The Walmart in "McCloud Trail" sells .22 at a very cheap price (same with shotgun ammo).

Not sure where you live, but it seems that 22 ammo is getting a lot easier to get a hold of(although the prices have gone up),compared to a few months ago.Tons of different makes in the local gunshop and Walmart.Hopefully the panic buying in the US is slowly coming to an end making it easier to get ammo here.
