Hey guys I'm looking in to buying a 1000 rd crate of 45 and wondered what the best deal is? what im paying for it by the box at my local store is just criminal lol. thanks.

Besides the darn good price from Canada Ammo on that Norc stuff Custom Reloading in Maple Ridge can also give you a price on ammo by the K.

Another option, if it will work for you, is to get into reloading. By using the brass you saved up already.... you DID save it I hope?..... you can reload for around $230 to $250 per 1K. The equipment will cost of course. But at the difference between $240'ish/K and what you are paying now you can easily do the math to figure out how many rounds of reloading it will take to pay off the start up equipment cost.

Shopping at Island Outfitters, huh? That'll control your shooting addiction. Pullen's is cheaper but they don't sell case loads, they do sell individual boxes of the Norc stuff if you want to try it before you buy a crate. Incidentally, is anyone else aware of another dealer selling the T 97 for $1300? I'm thinking IO is going off the deep end.

I guess I am doing well to wait for my $849.00 T 97 from Canada Ammo!

I mentioned the seemingly unreasonably high price to a staff member - he nodded and said 'don't ask me where it comes from'. Pretty obvious that the staff know, it's the ownership that don't get it. That said, people still buy from them, so who's crazy?

Well when you only have 2 shops in town, and one is only open 3 days a week.... our options are extremely limited. Wish someone would open a full service competitively priced shop thats open 7 days a week in Victoria...
