I saw bulk 50 BMG ammo on sale in a Cabela's flyer, cannot find any online as was wondering if anyone knows how many rounds come in the box? The picture in the add simply showed a box of 10 or 20 rounds with no mention of the quantity you got for the price shown.

I am sure Cabelas is capable of following any export restrictions they may have to follow.
Cabela's is a US store and the ad in question was for US product being sold inside the USA. I'm not sure just how much more obvious that might be?
Thus the question of how many in the box is totally and completely MOOT cause none of it can be exported from the US.

who cares which flier it was in, the queastion is how many rounds in the bulk box. Never said they would be bought and or shot on canadian soil did I.

Many years ago I purchased bulk surplus 50BMG from Cabelas, it came in metal ammo cans and had 150 rounds per can. I would be surprised if this has changed as 50 cal cans hold 150 rounds real nicely.
When I am in the US, at Cabelas, I like to look at lots of things. I don't find my curiousity breaks any laws. Sometimes I even ask questions about things I have no legal means of following through on. I've held in my hands firearms which are prohibitted under canadian law, many times actually.
For this reason, I do not find anything fishy about the question being asked, it's certainly not something we need to breaking out the large fonts for.

Several makers, specifically Hornady, Thunderbird and HSM package 50 ammo in boxes of 10 rounds. Bulk is usually in 50 cal ammo cans which hold 150 as previously stated

Thank you sir, If people understood the question in the first post and would stop jumping to assumptions it would be an easier place to get a straight answer.
150 rounds was the answer I was looking for, oh and the only thing coming back accross the border is the empty metal ammo can, which will also be declared along with some other legally acquired items
