I have a buddy who's driving to Florida and was wondering if any body knew of a (ITAR registered)place to get cheap projectiles and brass. 9 mm projectiles and .357 brass. I've checked online but it's about the same prices as Canada.

You do realize that brass and bullets are ITAR regulated, and an export license and permits are required to export them out of the USA?
I had them shipped to me from affordable brass and bullets . And I don't think the projectiles and brass is Itar controlled.ok maybe your right. I'll edit my OP... Thanks

Sorry to beat this dead horse, but, if you're buddy is the one carrying it back over the border HE needs the export permit, not the person he's buying it off of.

Otherwise the only advantage you have is seeing the stuff in person before the registered ITAR exporter sends it up here when you buy and pay face to face down south.

I've checked prices a few times and overall not much savings to be found except on 45 ACP by the time you pay for shipping and all the extra paperwork.

Lol , even if it's ITAR registered, still didn't mean I can drive them across the border.I was thinking I could save on the shipping. Costs me about $35 per 1000 for shipping to the rock.

Add in an extra 30% for the low canadian dollar :(
(Beside the fact that it's illegal without the correct paperwork)
I've ordered from the U.S. . It was about $10 cheaper per 1000 projectile , not really worth the hassle. My thought were , my buddy could pick me up 5000 projectiles from the U.S. And bring them back for me. It would save me $35 per 1000. I'll get him to drop in to X reload and get them as they are the same price as the U.S. Projectiles. And I'll save $30 per 1000 on the shipping.
