I shot a match with Western metals .45acp back Feb. No issues other than they couldn't make me miraculously better.
That’s good. I didn’t think of it because the thread was about 9mm, but I have had terrible experiences with BDX .45 ACP. Small pistol primed which didn’t want to light off in my CZ 97B. Multiple duds and some rounds took 4 to 5 hits before they lit off. It was the most unreliable centrefire ammo I’ve ever used. I’ll look at Western Metal next time I’m in the market for .45.
I picked up several hundred 44mag commercial reloads at an auction that I thought were a good price.
Turned out to be the dirtiest ammo I ever shot.
