Bulk shotgun ammo?

Define "bulk". 250 rds, 1000 rds, something else?

I bought some cases (10 boxes each) of Federal No8 at Corlane's in Dawson Creek this weekend for $62.

In Calgary area Super Targets are $55/flat and Top Guns just went to $52/flat. Most Calgary stores will give 5% of if you buy ten boxes of slugs/or buck.

PS join a club. One of the places I shoot buys in bulk and offers members a cost deal on 10 or more flats.

Target advertises 250 rd bulk paks in buckshot and slugs. They say call for pricing. I saw 100 rd boxes of skeet loads at can tire tonight.

Those 100 round boxes are packages of 4 boxes of 25. They seem to be a little bit of a saving over the box price, but no where near the saving of a flat of 10 boxes. eg. WSS sell the 100 pac or winchester target loads for 23.99 or 23.95 or about $6.00/box. Winchester super - targets which are a better load sell for 54.95/10 box flat. If your going to shoot a lot, buy at least a flat. Better still, join a club. Our club sells the same super target to members at 55 tax in and less for quantities of 10 flats.

Le Baron usually has crates of 250 rounds somewhere in the 60$ range at this time of year .... They were in the 40$ range last year, shoulda stocked up ...

ammo pricing

Algon, you can usually save a dollar or 2 per box if you buy a flat which is 10 boxes. Winchester is usually the least expensive around $13.00 a box and ya might find a flat for $120.00. Most of the new lead hunting ammo is more expensive than Steel. FS

WSS has the best price that I've found, Federals at 49.99 for 250rds or Win at 54.99 for 250rds.

WSS has raised the price of the fed top gun load to 51.95. Other brands are expected to follow. If anyone ever gets rem gun club they are expected to be over $60.00.
