Your local gun shop can order whatever you want. How long it takes depends on whether or not their supplier has it in stock. Be prepared to pay up front. Most shops will want you to pick it up quickly too. Crazy powder quanity rules.

Yep, many stores are limited to relatively small quantities unless they have a seperate magazine.
If you have the personal need, or a group of friends who can take it, Higginson's offer free shipping (but you pay the $15 Haz-Mat) if you order 21 lbs. WHile he won't include the shipping on primers, if you're already getting 21 lbs of powder, the added shipping per 5000 primers is next to nothing.
Depending on where you are the shipping isn't so free anymore. My last order was nearly $30 plus the extra HST
and when I phoned Higginson's about this the answer is because DHL only deal in major centers, they pass it off to local companys which want a little more, and being on the far reaches of the west coast doesn't help either. Not earth shattering but a friendly heads up.
They can't give you a estimate over the order desk either until the order is being processed, so they told me.
