Walnut hulls from PA and a squirt or two of brasso, keeps dust down and works great.

PA walnut here. Will try the cut up dryer sheets, or Brasso. I use it in a FA vibrator. I also have a small Thumbler tumbler that I used to use. I'm not trying to win the bright brass contest, just clean it.

Agricultural corn cobb bedding works for me. New Finish car wax is a great polisher & dust limiter.

De-priming before tumbling is not economy of motion, too much work, with little benefit. If I need to clean the primer pocket I do it at stsge one before I seat a new primer.

Wet tumbling is the best, but it comes with its own set of issues.

Don't have Princess Auto nearby: I used the walnut pet bedding for years now and works great. Only pet peeve is it sticks inside .223 brass / primer pockets sometimes because it is rather coarse.
Otherwise good to go.

This is why the Princess Auto stuff is popular. It is very fine and does not stick in flash holes.

I use the PA walnut in my Lyman Turbo 1200. A piece of 6mil plastic, cut to fit under the top of the unit keeps all of the dust in

Winnowing. Gets rid of the dust.

PA walnut is all i use.

Reptile bedding here, it's sold marked as low dust. Works great.
