I guess it depends on ones definition of "bull" barrel. I think of a 'bull' barrel as a large diameter (an inch and a quarter) straight taper...
One of the obstacles in trying to put a "bull" barrel on a BAR hunting rifle is the alignment of the gas mechanism that drives the action open when fired... there is only so much room from the center of the bore to the bottom area of the action. The gas piston needs to be in an exact plane. It can't be just attached on the outside of a 'bull' barrel. The assembly could be machined a little to accept a larger than factory barrel, but a 'bull' barrel I still doubt.
Perhaps have as heavy as possible barrel installed with a taper that allows a larger muzzle diameter... even a 'swamped' taper...
