Bull Down

Thanks all. For those curious how I loaded him alone, I unhooked the trailer and tipped it on its side so that the top of the trailer and the bulls back were right next to each other. Then i ran two slings, one tied to his front legs at the knee and the other tied around his hocks, over the side of the trailer and attached them to the ball on the quad. Then you just drive away slowly, moose rolls in the trailer and the trailer rolls onto it's wheels all in one motion.

Good stuff on the Moose, unfortunately only the Last photo is working, so im missing out so to speak :D

.416 & 400gr is some serious stuff

Nice Moose Kyle I think your 35 Whelen would have done the job congrats

Haha, I wondered if you'd see this! You know, I hunted faithfully with the Whelen I bought from you all last season and this one. The very first time I decided to change it up was the day I saw a moose. I should be drawn next year, so she will HOPEFULLY get to prove herself then!!

And I thought I was at the upper end shooting my moose this year with my .375 Ruger! Nice moose and good on you for using something outside the box.

Thanks! I read a few bad reviews on that DGX bullet on here and elsewhere so I was worried it might be a poor performer for me. It seemed to work just fine, passed through and the exit wound was definitely bigger than the entrance. I wish I'd got a pic of that after he was skinned, the phrase "eat up to the hole" is a very literal term!
