I was prepping some bullets today for my 35cal smokeless ML. This is built on a Remington ML action. Bullets must be sized prior to loading and solid coppers are a real chore to get through the sizing die. I'm shooting 200 grain Barnes TSX's over 57 grains of IMR 3031, getting almost 2700 ftps
Propane heat to red as I can get em, then quench.
Urine has the perfect pH and alkalinity for quenching, just don't let the wife catch you!!!
Finished product...almost.
The reason for annealing is apparent the first time you try a barnes bullet without doing it...My sizing die is made from a piece of the bbl...see the rifling inside

Bullets are marked with an indexing stripe and are loaded on the same land/groove on the rifle that corresponds to the sizing die.
