bullet annealing for better penetration

So many fails in that article, I couldn't read more than 1/3 of it. Where do guys come up with this crap? " only shoot for the head and neck past 275yrds with the 7mm for humane kills"f:P: Never did get to the "Bullet annealing" part, can only imagine.

The post is about bullet annealing ,not lets shoot everything in the head or neck. You learn absolutely nothing about bullet performance with these shots. It's about better penetration preventing bullet blowup at closer ranges...........ignore what you don't like and learn from the rest.......Harold

So many fails in that article,

I have to agree. From the first improper use of the word "autopsy" to the info on annealing bullets the whole article appears to be crap.

400+ Celsius, which is required to sufficiently "anneal" a portion of the copper jackets, would probably affect the lead core which melts at ~328 c.
