Bullet lube on finished round

I wouldn't want any case lube on the cases when they are fired. A good deal of the rear thrust on the bolt is taken up by the friction between the expanded/obturated case and the chamber wall. I don't know why there would be case lube on a bullet though.
If you're talking about bullet lube on a cast bullet, I've never had problems as a result of that. Many people put extra bullet lube on the noses of bullets to increase accuracy (not for use in a semi of course).
If you want to get case lube off of loaded rounds before firing, just tumble them. Some say it will cause a massive explosion that will destroy your entire city but for the millions of tumbled rounds the rest of us fire, there aren't any problems.

Why would there be case lube on the bullets?

When doing 9mm or 45acp on a single stage press I will lube the cases to speed things up when sizing. Once the rounds are loaded up I will take a rag and put less then a tsp of mineral oil or paint thinner on a rag and put 100 rounds on the rag at a time I make a hammock shape and shake them side to side. Shines them up real nice and removes the lube. If your using soft lead then the bullets get marked up a little bit, but it's just cosmetic.
Any excess bullet lube can cause an increase in chamber pressure by preventing the case mouth/neck area from fully expanding and releasing the bullet.

Bullet lube on the nose will kill you dead, guaranteed. Well, except for the hundreds of thousands of people who tumble lube, it doesn't seem to hurt them. But for everybody else, it's really bad.
Oh - I guess it's Ok on 22 rimfire bullets, because they're all lubed on the nose. But for everything else it will kill you dead.
Well, except for all the billions of rounds of lead bullet factory ammo used in millions of guns for the last 150 years that came from the factory with lube on the bullet nose, apparently those are fine too.
But if you made the bullet yourself and left lube on the nose, then it will kill you dead. Guranteed.

I lightly spray mine in a plastic bag before loading as well and may or may not wipe them after, does not seem to bother the shooting though
