I've knocked more animals then i care to think about with the Gould hollow pt. in the 45/70, at 340grs. or so I have used it cast hard, at over 2000fps. and cast soft using black powder at about 1400fps. This year i used it in sabots with my inline,deadly no matter how I use it. The only one that rivals it for deer is the .512" 530gr. flat pt. used in the 50/90 Sharps, at up to 300yds. nothing can touch these bullets. No need to brag 'em up in magazines or spend thousands on commercials on the Hunting Channel, they've been dropping deer on the spot for over 100 years.
