Is there anyone here pointing their match bullets? Have you noticed a difference in consistency from 500-1000y? Anyone know a good place to pick one up? Thanks.

There is a definite increase in BC when bullets are pointed. The amount will depend on how open the tip is from the factory.

I point 90gr bullets for my 223 Rem that I shoot in FTR F class out to 1000y, pointed bullets print 7.5" higher vs non pointed at 1000y and group a little tighter group. I can not see any differance in pointed and non pointed at short distances 300m
I think when pointing what helps is your sorting and measuring from ogive to meplate trim before pointing helps.
