Just wondering how they work. I take it you can re use the bullets? what about the brass. I guess you would have to shoot off the primers then resize the brass again?

Thanks
Tim

They work with inertia. Cartridge case stops. Bullet keeps going. Everything left over afterwards can be re-used. I don't think you would have to re-size. Never checked though.

Using the inertia puller always seems to lower the neck tension. I run them back through a bushing die with the decapper removed if that is an option. Otherwise they get resized.

Thanks guys I knew "how" they worked actually I just was wondering about the brass and neck tension. I kind of figured it would be low and something would need to be done. Sounds like a good reason to get a neck sizing die...more stuff......YESSSSS!!!!

If you are using the hammer type put someting soft inside the bottom of the hammer like a couple of cleaning patches, it will keep your bullet tips from deforming on lead tipped bullets. You can also get collet type pullers which mount in your reloading press, they work better if you have a bunch of bullets to pull and if used properly they do not mark the bullets. I have and use both.
