Need advice. I bought some.321 Hornady 170 grain HCFN bullets to load in my Marlin lever action 32 Special. My concern is that the Hornady flat noses are of slightly smaller diameter than the primer so I wonder if they will set off the primer. They are about half the diameter of the Winchester 170 g power points I have for the 32 Special. What do you think?

You should be fine.
Evenif you used pointy bullets the chance of setting off the primer in the mag tub is extremely low. Most incidents of rounds going off in the tube were along time ago back when powder and primers were not quite as stable as they are today and actually usually happened with flat and round nosed bullets.

Four! where do you find enough brass? I have just started re loading and have been buying commercial loads just to get a supply of .32 brass . Also, thank you for the information.

If you get hold of 30-30 brass you can neck them up with a tapered expander plug to make 32 Special brass, very easy to do.
