Bullet Seating Depth Hornady GMX 6.5 mm 120 grain

I am developing a load for Hornady GMX 120 grain bullets for my 6.5 CM Weatherby Vanguard S2. I am using H4350 and have performed a ladder for my powder and I am getting some good results (about 0.5 MOA at 100 yards). I have the bullet seated at COAL as suggested in the reloading manual. I want to see if I can improve things by changing seating depth. If you could offer advice regarding a ladder of depths to test I would be much obliged. I am not sure about about what intervals to use and how far off the lands to start. Also if anyone has experience with the maximum length of cartridge the floor plate magazine on a Weatherby will accept. I would appreciate that information.

why bother if it shoots half moa? You won't improve on that

There is no magic seating depth. Tune the accuracy with the powder charge
 
The only way to know is to measure your jump specific to your gun.

At .5" already you may not see any improvement anyways. I have to jump .050" in order to feed from the mag. My 6.5CM doesn't seem to care what the jump is, and is .5moa all day.
 
My rifle can take a COAL with that bullet of 2.881 the COAL from the reloading manual is 2.710. That leaves me 171 thousandths to play with. That is why I though I may be leaving some accuracy on the table.
