bullet size ?

I have a .44 Russian and need advice on bullets . i have made a cast of the chamber ,it is a straight taper .462 to .452 .( all six are very close) and the bore slug measures
.411 .

Is it realistic to use a .456 round ball for the time being , ( like my Remy C & B .44 ) or is it too big? I'll be using .44 rem mag brass.
I believe a .44 russian should use a .429 dia bullet and will try to find something suitable . Any suggestions ?

They seem to like keith style and if you are loading with black they hold a good amount of lube . 429 should be right.

thanks Dez , i've ordered a .429 mold. Just wanted to try the rball for now.I'll be patient and wait....
