Temp related. I've got a load for my CG 63 6.5x55, that I use only when there's snow. Shoots great, no pressure signs. But once it warms up its a different story. Rob Furlong talked about getting American match VS plain link ammo .50BMG rounds in AFG.

I Think your way to slow at 2600 fps ! A LOAD of H1000 will give EASY 2850 fps ! PLUS .

Quite possibly, as long as you compress the powder charge, depending, of course, on the specific brass you are using. While Nosler shows velocities of up to 2,887 fps, that takes a 107% charge. Their low load is still compressed [101%] & it yields 2,743 fps. My calculation was based on a 100% charge with QL's default case capacity as I did not have the OP's figures to work with, which differs from Nosler's case capacity.

I just took a 300 Win mag Nosler case and poured 80 grs of H1000 in it and it only came to the shoulder ! Lots of room !
Maybe a MILD compression when loaded But certainly nothing to be worried or ever concerned about .
My 30-06 will shoot 200 -210 s easy at 2600 plus ! 300 Win at 2900 ! 300 WEbee at 3000 plus .+
