Bullet Types: FMJs Hunt Legal in Ont?

Not a new hunter, just new to Ont. The question popped up in my head from reading another post and remembering it is illegal in BC. My thoughts were along sunrays, goes well with fur and I want to go after yotes come winter. Have not tried 'em in my gun yet.

Hey, I guess I could use tracers to hunt this fall.

What a great idea. It would help determine leads on running game. On the other hand, that might seem unethical by some?..

useed fmjs 1 year on coyotes

I took to dogs last year using my sks and fmjs was dissapointed and the gents are right they are unethiucal both shots were in the basket and both dogs ran over 200yrds after hit we shoot them on a farm as pests but I dont wish that death on any animal.

I use milsurp 7.62X39 for coyotes. Perfectly legal in AB and drops a coyote in its tracks! And do I even have to mention the price?

I too was under the impression that, by law, you couldn't hunt with FMJ in Ontario. Wrong I guess?
