Bullet weight (9mm)

I mixed up some 115 and 147gr. in a mag to see if there was a difference. The lighter bullet has a snappy recoil where the heavier bullet is softer with less muzzle flip.

I've been doing the same thing, and noticed the same thing. I also mixed up some 124gr in there. I've settled on 147gr myself. When I tried 124 & 115gr my shots were quite bad, I'd say due to having gotten used to the 147gr. They make bigger holes in the paper too because American Eagle's 147gr bullets are a truncated cone shape.

I shoot ppc & duty with 9mm! I shoot 124fmj out to 25yds. When shooting 50yrd ppc its 147s for me.The 147s will group better for me at 50yrd than the 124s( and yes Ive tried several different loads). Also 124fmjs are cheaper than 147fmjs.

Where does one get JHP's?

I just happened across them at Reliable Gun here in YVR. Rem UMC 115grn. JHP. When I went in for some 9mm ammo for the new (to me) P7, the guy on the counter asked if I wanted ball or HP. I was surprised I had a choice! I replied "JHP piease..." IIRC they were $17 a box...

Look around...They are out there. I'm sure one of your locals would carry it if we have it out here.
