Bullet weight for H&K P30L question

About shooting straight lead only bullets. I have run the Wolf lead round nose 135gr through my G17 which has polygonal rifling. Put a thousand rounds through it before switching back to standard FMJ 124's.

I can honestly say it felt like the gun was snapping a lot harder, much harder then these 124's felt before running the lead only bullets through them.

Lighter loads are usually snapier in 9mm so maybe it is just subjective since I was transitioning back to a lighter load (135gr down to 124) or maybe it was leading in the barrel increasing chamber pressure. Either way I didn't want to find out so I cleaned the barrel.

maybe there's something to do with the bullets' size i think.
i checked the size on the 125 LRN is .357 & the 124 FMJ is .355. Lead is softer so they make them a touch bigger in dia.
i maybe wrong though
