I have been unable to locate a bullet weight and twist rate chart for the .223/5.56x45. Could someone please direct me to a good chart and then make a stickie for it.

There is a Twist Vs max bullet wt chart at 6mmbr.com. There is a section on twist rates just above the section on loading the 223 Rem cartridge. I don't think it is exactly what you are looking for but it might help. It also includes Sierra's load data for AR and bolt guns.

Has more to do with bullet length then weight, just heavy bullets tend to be long. Not all 1/9 twist will stabilize the 75g AMAX which is very long but most will, I haven't seen a 1/9 that wouldn't stabilize the 75 BTHP but it is much shorter then the AMAX. Anything heavier needs a 1/8 or faster.

Bearing length of the bullet plays a more important part than the overall length of the bullet.
As in the case of the hornady 75s - the hpbt has a longer bearing length than the amax.
Velocities play an important part too.
As with everything, it is good to try different stuff to see what works for you and your barrels.
