124gr plated Frontier, but want to try 124gr AIM soon. I also like 115gr JHP's.

Curious. The early results are vastly in favour of the 124's. I suspected the 147's would be leading.

I use 124gr plated mostly from Frontier, the AIM 124gr (realy they are 120gr)I have used them not so sure about them some funny stuff happening :D

i use the old 38 super 130 grain- it comes as a swc, and requires only a minor powder reduction from the 124- it feeds better in both the norc and the beretta, whereas the 124 rn tended to get hung up on the feed ramp

I bought 2000 of their 120gr 9mm,checked some for weight any where from 120 to 124gr
I will also wait for them to improve their quality control, before I order more from them.

AIM have mentioned they are introducing a second generation of bullets with thicker jackets and more beveled bases. I'm of mixed emotions. Frontier bullets seem to be highly regarded worldwide, and support a shooting industry in a country that can use our help. If AIM come on stream with a quality equivalent product, it will be hard not to support the local industry.

I have a stock of 124gr Montana Gold TMJ & 124gr Cam-Pro plated. I'd prefer 147's but my supplier was out when I ordered.

This is so but I would like to support a local supplier and I know they are working on it some times its not so easy to get things going:D

I have been using 124 Frontiers, but if the price didn't go up, I would have used the 147's. You will load a pile more rounds per pound of powder with the 147's. Mr.Cleans loads are great, mine are OK, but a tad more snap than the 147's. Cheers!

A country that made its bed and can lay in it if you ask me.

I am not unimpressed with their quality to date. True their fist offerings were off by a few grains but that has been addressed. As you suggest. Supporting local industry that supports local matches makes great sense to me.

Not really. AIM bought up Martys equipment, and set up shop in Hamilton.

Even that is not very accurate anymore.

Sure they bought Marty's equipment.

However most of it was just plain junk......which explains Marty's quality control problems.

The boys at AIM ended up tearing it all down and rebuilding it as well as getting new dies.

That is why they wre a little off on the weights of their first generation. New dies needed tweeking.

Now they have new new dies with bevels etc and the correct weights so I have high hopes for them.

Mind you I am very happy with the first generation.
