Bullets for yotes

I shoot the Sierra 52gr. Match BTHP in my .22-250 (and did in a .223 WSSM as similar velocity) and have had excellent results - pin prick entry, no exit and severe bloodshot/jelly-fied innards. Only whacked 3 so far but results have been the same at 30-120 yards.

A very good choice in the 22-250.

All the veteran guys I talk with who put up a lot of fur use hollow points. Tipped bullets are somewhat OK but they do make a mess more often then hollow points. I shot 2 coyotes this afternoon with a 35 gr HP (.204) and they made only 1 tiny hole.

In my 223 I use 40grand Berger, 40 gr FBHP Nosler Varmageddons, or 40 gr Sierra Blitzkings. They all shoot very well with 3 different powders.

The go to at this moment is the Berger with LT-32.... and unobtainium Lot 7
