Bullets from Brownells ?

I was wondering if anyone has ever ordered bullets from Brownells ? Is it possible to get them shipped? I just ordered a trigger from them and I’m waiting for it to ship, I’m just unsure if bullets can be purchased the same way. There’s some I would like that I can’t find instock anywhere in Canada

Would be nice... 1/2 price.. factor in exchange...... the 900cdn for 2000 count of 147 ELDm bullets drops to 746.00 plus any tax/duty.

Granted someone up here pays a distributor, but that is a chunk of change.

As most parts are already importable, I don’t see bullets an brass being a prob.

We already have access to all these items, so I highly doubt the Gov will bother with this.

It has nothing to do with the Liberal Government, there are no laws against importing of firearms parts, you can do it from most of the other countries in the world, it is an export law from the US.

Can you please give a timeline on this?

I find it interesting that we can bring in bullets, brass and ammo from many other countries with no problems and it is not illegal to bring in ammunition brass or bullets from the US, it is illegal to export it.

Back in Chretien's day.
If you check, you will see that there are a number of countries to which US exports can be made without difficulty. Canada isn't one of them.

If I remeber correctly, I've seen a lot of NATO countries on the export-friendly list.....

I don't believe that overall there would be a big saving. Back in the day I made an order of bullets from Mid South that totaled a fairly large sum. I just forget the number. Before it was shipped I received a call from a Mid South rep. He advised me that the shipping would cost somewhere around 50% of the order.Bullets are heavy. I cancelled because of the shipping there wasn't a worth while saving. JME

If you find a good deal on bullets, Prophet River will import them for $50 per line item, meaning unlimited number of one bullet.

Some of the deals right now at Midsouth, shootersproshop, etc are a real savings if you shoot a lot and are in the position to buy several thousand at a time.
