Who knows how these will be. The J48 was brought in and then had an immediate recall and no more have come in. It is a little fugly, but if it runs go for it.

The first Jard they made for Canada was a failure at launch due to numerous defects and was recalled. Anyone using a Jard bullpup might be putting the side of their skull at risk.

Did the Jard 5.56 rifle ever make it back to store shelves after being recalled?

Lord those are ugly, a rectangle with an at handguard. It looks like literally zero effort went into the aesthetics. When somethings that uninspired and ugly you'd better hope function trumps form by a long shot, yet they don't apparently. Seems everything they do they're trying to out ugly hi point or something, Bummer

Theoretically, yes. However, there's no SKU for 5.56 conversion kit from IWI. As of right now, your only option is to buy the 5.56 rifle and get the 9mm conversion kit if you're set to have both calibers on one gun.

We have the 9mm conversion kit on order and will be coming this year.

IMO Sub2000 and CX4 are Bullpup enough for me. Of course one can argue it is not really Bullpup at all...
