The front ejection makes it full-time ambidextrous...no need to swap out any parts.FN FS2000 is ambidextrous as well.
You're right--the FS2000 is currently out of production. They do seem to be getting rarer on the EE, but most of the one's I've seem are priced around the same as a comparable Tavor...maybe a bit more. The FS2000 is a fine rifle that is truly ambidextrous but expensive. I think it is no longer sold new in Canada. I could be wrong on that account though. You might be able to get one off the EE if you pony up the money.
I'd agree that's probably your best bet.Realistically the easiest to obtain option at this time is a Tavor and converting it over. The left handed bolt will cost you 200$ on top of the 2600$ or so for a new Tavor.
I was informed by North Sylva at one point that you can order a Tavor as a lefty at no additional charge.
As far as bullpups go, I think the Tavor is the best option.
