Put a decent hunting scope on it and I see potential.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since this looks to be a factory-made bullpup, I think it would be legal in Canada for hunting if it came in over 26 inches overall length.

Converting a "normal" stocked rifle to a bullpup configuration is illegal (don't ask why, just more Lieberal "logic"), but if they come from the factory like that, they're legal in Canada (see Tavor bullpup rifles).
