Put a decent hunting scope on it and I see potential.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but since this looks to be a factory-made bullpup, I think it would be legal in Canada for hunting if it came in over 26 inches overall length.

Converting a "normal" stocked rifle to a bullpup configuration is illegal (don't ask why, just more Lieberal "logic"), but if they come from the factory like that, they're legal in Canada (see Tavor bullpup rifles).

Might be wrong but everything leads me to think that its an Heckler & Koch SLB 2000 in a fancy stock. In which case the OP is right about the rifle being prohibited (actually the stock...)

It says its a bullpup conversion for the SLB 2000. If you were able to remove the stock and the gun was not able to fire then it would be legal. However, from what I can find, it a no-go.
