Bullpup Shoot 2012

Cool video.

I like that Aug A3

One thing though. The pistol explanation is good for "tactical" reloads where you want to keep the mag. But to do a fast mag change.... Do not use the same hand to hit the mag release that your are using to put in the new mag.

Instead extend the thumb out on your shooting/strong hand while holding the pistol grip and with index finger on the frame. Think of opening your hand for the thumb to go back. You can now hit the mag release while keeping your Tavor on target. The mag will drop free. Use your week side hand to put in the new mag. Keep your thumb parrallel to the mag (don't extend up) and hit the bolt release in one motion right as you finish inserting the mag. Now you're ready to go.

That Desert Arms SRS bolt sure needs some work - yikes! I'll take that U.S Optics any and everyday though.

Interesting barrel change they have going, but the Nemesis (i know it's not a bullpup) still wins by the a mile on any other competitor.

Not really a fan of the A3 look wise.

Tavor for the win, hands down! In FDE would be a nice option to have here as well. Wonder if IWI in Israel would consider offering it as well.

The AUG was COOL! I wonder if they plan on offering 9mm conversion kits for the Tavor in Canda as well? I would definitely have to save up for a Tavor and grab one if so. The Red Jacket 10/22 kit looked pretty cool as well. Kinda makes it look like a P90. As always, love the video's. Keep it up.

before they offer a 9mm kit to canada you will need to find out wether the american tavors will be availble in canada. i doubt we will get the kit unless the tavors come here as well. north slyva is aparenty working on importing X95 tavors from IWI wich can be converted to 9mm.

for roughly 2000$ american the american tavor will be the same price the israely ones are currently sold for here. if that is the case i would rather have the israely version. i know for sure the israely ones are manufatured right. at least with teh americans making them now we will see more after market parts come available i hope.

I wish we could get the 10/22 RJF conversion and the AUG. The more I see and handle the Tavor I want one. It would complement my RFB for varmit hunting nicely.

I would love to see te conservation officers face when I pull out a Tavor.

Any explanation as to why the first round wouldn't eject on the Desert Tactical SRS?

Great to see Steyr producing the Aug again, too bad we can't have it.

Any explanation as to why the first round wouldn't eject on the Desert Tactical SRS?

It has to do with the type of ejector on the gun. If you do not pull the bolt all the way to the rear in a smooth and at least reasonably fast motion then the cartridge will not eject the side of the gun fully.

Learned this on mine during my first shots. Very easy problem to correct, just takes some knowledge of your gear.
