I was doing a search on google for bullpups and I came across this sweet looking zombie killer. Are these things even legal in Canada? It's a Mossy bullpup 12g w/18" barrel from the mid 80's (middle one in the pic).

Wouldn't this s/g fall under the same issues as the Walther G22? Legal gun but illegal stock? On a slightly different note here, if it does fall under the same issues as the G22 then it can't be all that illegal because I just bought a G22 last week, all legal and everything stright from the CFC :D

I had/have one of those shotguns.

When I bought it I was much younger, dumber and impressed by cool looking stuff (It did look cool)

The trigger was by far the worst trigger I have ever experienced, and the pathetic carry handle/sights were horrible. The grip safety was an abomonation.

When the "Bullpup ban" came down I reluctantly stripped the bullpup stock off and bought a solid stock and forend thus improving the firearms look and function. I then threw the bullpup stuff in the trash.

As far as I know the bullpup design is illegal, but legal or not it was a crap design.

I'd love one of them!
Not to mention the other two in the pic above also.
I hope the Bullpup ban goes away someday. :)

The SPAS is prohib by name and the Mossy is prohib because of the stock, and it hasn't been made for a number of years.

FWIW the Mossy is just a 500.

I've shoot with the Franch SPAS. A pain to shoot it. Way too much complicated mechanics... 870P...simple and reliable. But i have to admit that it's a good feeling to handle...

Too heavy too. I haven't shot one but have handled one.
