Bullpup SKS?

And it's a gun or semi automatic rifle, not a weapon. Ah, noobs!:p
Just joshin' with ya!

Ya... about that...

Section 2, Criminal Code, Definitions...

“firearm”

firearm” means a barrelled weapon from which any shot, bullet or other projectile can be discharged and that is capable of causing serious bodily injury or death to a person, and includes any frame or receiver of such a barrelled weapon and anything that can be adapted for use as a firearm;

And pretty much every other English dictionary defines a gun as a "weapon"... Feel free to google it.

Since the barreled action of a Sks is a firearm on its own and over the 26" without a stock...

Could there be a grey area explored. The law specifically says stock. What if it's a "chassis" or "holder" or something.

Is "stock" defined?
I know lots of stuff isn't in our awesome laws

If it isn't defined in law... the courts revert to common language usage as defined by current dictionary standards.

"A stock, also known as a shoulder stock, a buttstock, or simply a butt is a part of a rifle or other firearm, to which the barrel and firing mechanism are attached, that is held against one's shoulder when firing the gun."

So something attached to a barrelled action to facilitate shooting the barrelled action.

Ah man! You had to drain my sails, didn't you? I know what you mean but a weapon just sounds so....dangerous!;)

I'm not ashamed of my weapons. I'm proud that I have them and proud that I know how to use them responsibly. They are what they are... I refuse to succumb to a leftist media that thinks I should deny what they are to placate those that may not appreciate them.

Guns, knives, bows, etc etc. Just another martial art of sorts.

Always wanted a bullpup stock... But I shoot lefty... A little hard on the face.... No damage to the face, just hurts :).... A little . I think I looked at an SKS bullpup conversion stock a couple of years ago, love the look of them, the steel version and the woody.
Would love to have one and the lefty (bolt) conversion have already be done by another CNGer, so you know it can be done.

You can get an RFB. The "f" stands for forward ejecting. Brass shoots out the front under the barrel. No brass face smacking.
