What a great powder. Meters really well through the powder dispenser.

Loaded up 230gr RN with 5.0 gr and 230gr lead RN with 4.8 gr and shot them through my 2 stock norcs (commander and chrome 5") at 10 yards.

Fist size groups all day if I do my part. Wish I bought more when 4lb jugs were going for $85

I like hodgdon powder more, mainly because I could get them alot easier and cheaper. That being said Bullseye is the standard for 38spl 148gr hbwc loads.

Very good powder. My late mentor told me to start with Bullseye for 9mm hardcast. And I got it right first time. The only downside: smokes like a runaway diesel train with lead hardcast. It meters well, very stable. My other options will be Titegroup, W231 and HP38.

Trouble is I have not seen any Bullseye for about 3 years. It's my go-to powder for 9mm and my 45ACP but it's just not around right now.

If I could find it I'd probably use it for all standard handgun loading. Right now I husband it for .38 special only.

That and 2400, for heavy pistol or light cast loads in rifle, are the greatest plinker powders ever.
