I took my new-to-me S&W M&P 15-22 MOE with Burris AR-332 scope to the range for the first time today. After putting 800 ish rounds thru it, I can say that the rifle was fantastic. This was no surprise to me since I have owned a non-MOE version before and they are functionally identical. In fact I tell people that, next to some full autos, this is the most fun gun I have ever shot.
I was not so sure about how I would like the scope. I had a Vortex Strikefire red dot (no magnification) on my previous S&W that really did not work for me. I needed something with some magnification. I read some decent reviews and decided to try the AR-322 with its 3x magnification. I was VERY impressed. For a short to medium range plinker, this is a great sight. I used it in the non illuminated mode most of the time at ranges of 25m & 50m to sight it in. Then lots of pop can plinking at ranges from 15m - 25m. I found the circle recticle very fast and easy for target acquisition. I find this much more user friendly than a red dot. This one is definitely a keeper. I will try some longer range shooting on my next range trip.
