Does anybody know if these mounts are available in Canada?

Also, and I guess I must be feeling lucky for asking, is the Burris XTR-14, 1X-4X-24mm scope available anywhere here in Canada?

Thanks

Every website I checked in the states which carried the scope stated they wouldn't ship them outside of the US. But hey, it wouldn't be the first thing the US gov. didn't want shipped out of the states that we could easily buy here.

But what about the mounts? Anybody heard of any being available here?

The mount certainly looks like a good value priced alternative for those who don't require a BUIS and the quick detach/kool aid of a Larue or ADM.

Well they sure saved a pile of $$$ and time ordering from the states!

I wish you were always right WW3. Sadly, I was shopping for an XTR14 during one year. The canadian price was always 250-300$ more than the US price. I never bought it.
On my next trip in the US I might buy an XTR156.
But if Phil have so good prices on scopes, I'll be pleased to support him! :)

The mount in question from the Optics Zone is $112.14 USD shipped, now add PST, GST, Customs charges, exchange rate and credit card conversion rates and you actually loose money buying that mount from the US. Next time you go to the US and are thinking about buying that scope don’t get caught crossing the border without an export permit or your going to get a cavity search - maybe you’ll enjoy it, I don’t know. he he

PERP to my door $115.65
NO PST, GST, Customs charges. Exchange rate on cc 4%.
Optics Zone sends it USPS.

Would have got it from P&D but did not know they had them.

Apparently mine is in the mail. Second times the charm. Its a mount and not a scope so I really don't understand the logic behind the stupid export laws. I tried to get a bulb for my Surefire and they refused to send it outside the US also, which left me scratching my head.

Wolverine will special it. I just got the AR-332 from them. Very impressed with it. I've always had good luck with Burris scopes. I know they aint the best, but they usually last longer than the rest. :)

Could you guys who already have the mount, please post pics of it already mounted and with scope on? What kind of scope are you mounting on?

I wanted to get it together with a XTR 1-4x24mm, but I don't think I'll be getting the scope for now (availability and cost being the reasons). I just need a better arrangement than what I have at the moment, to mount a Bushnell Legend 2-7x32mm scope. I already have a set of Millett rings and was thinking about getting a Yankee Hill rail extension to mount them on ( ht tp://yankeehillmachine.com/store/product260.html ) It would be less than half the cost of the P.E.P.R. mounts for me, although I'd really prefer to have the Burris just in case I get a chance at buying the XTR scope. But for now, I haven't been able to locate anybody selling them in Canada, and every place I've found in the states who has them is not shipping them here.
