Burris AR-P.E.P.R.™ Mount

PERP to my door $115.65
NO PST, GST, Customs charges. Exchange rate on cc 4%.
Optics Zone sends it USPS.

Would have got it from P&D but did not know they had them.

Once and a while you do get lucky and customs allows a small package through without inspection and charging the GST, PST and service charge. That would be a be an additional 12% to 15% added on to the total if inspected.

With the first scope I ordered from the states about 8 or 10 years ago, I didn't get any charges added to the original invoice. I did, however, get charged pretty coin a couple of weeks later by the carrier, for taxes and customs broker fees. It pissed me off to no end, and I made them wait for about a year before I paid. I ended up paying about $800 for a $650 scope, making it the first and last time I've ever ordered anything expensive from the US. After that, everything I've ordered costing around $100 or less has been delivered with no taxes or fees added to the original price.

I guess I got one of the last ones.:dancingbanana:

I ordered a PEPR mount from you yesterday afternoon and it arrived this afternoon. Thanks for the quick shipping. I am impressed.

Kudos to you and your staff Phil.

Thanks.

Could you guys who already have the mount, please post pics of it already mounted and with scope on? What kind of scope are you mounting on?

This is my setup.
Falcon 1.5 x 5 x 30 SIR. that is a nice setting.

I purchased a 30mm Burris PERP mount on Ebay recently for USD $89 and $11 shipping. I have a Leupold Mark 4 MR/T M2 Illuminated on order for my AR15 Flat top.

Sounds like P&D can set you up for the same kind of dollars. The mount seems well made.

I've bought a ton of stuff from the states. I refuse to use both Fedex and UPS for this very reason. The brokerage fees usually exceed the cost of shipping. Often they will make you come to some depot to claim things that were delivered when nobody was at your home.

USPS is great and the duty or inspection fees charged on our side are more often than not dropped. Go on Ebay and type an AR15 search and you will find this mount. Mine took just over a week to get here.

Sellers in the US may be reluctant to ship here but generally if you ask them they will do it. If you have a new account and no trader rating that may prevent them from doing so.

So nobody else as a AR PEPR 1" ring in Canada ?
I guess I will have to order from the states while they still have it in stock. Seems to sale FAST

My 14 year olds with a Millett DMS.

Is the center of the reticle on the Millett DMS, the dot not the donut, visible without batteries, or is it a batteries only reticle? Are they available in Canada?

Frontier has them. I got one a few weeks ago.

SWFA sent me a nice message saying that Burris is the one that refused to export this piece outside of the US.

And yes its a 1moa dot inside a donut.

The DMS reticle is a dot inside a donut and is visible even with the illumination turned off. This is an incresibly bright illumination and in my opinion is one of the best deals in medium prices scopes of black guns. Phil.

So, with the illumination off you can see 3 long lines at 3, 6 and 9 O'Clock stopping short of the center and a red 1 MOA dot in the center; and with the illumination on you can also see a red donut with a 1 MOA dot in the center?

How would this scope compare, quality-wise, to something like a Bushnell Legend? Just quality wise (clarity, toughness, reliability), I know the Legends don't come with tactical reticles?

Do you have them available also, Phil? I checked your website, but couldn't find the info, nor its price.

Thanks guys!
